"Care after a stroke"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / General medicine Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / General medicine Specialist Therapy Services / Bassetlaw Community Neuro and Stroke Service

(as a service user),

Admitted to hospital in August for two days following a 'medium' stroke. Care from the doctors and nurses was first class; even the food was of more than reasonable quality.

Allowed home, it was so reassuring to discover that an NHS community care group came out to visit you, and over the following weeks and months were there to help and advise through recovery.
