"I arrived home from work to find that the hospital had cancelled my appointment"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

The TRAQS team arranged an appointment for me at a suitable place and time.

On the day before my appointment I arrived home from work to find that the hospital had cancelled my appointment. I had arranged for the afternoon off and so had my wife so we had to reorganise our days (the cancellation letter in the post).

So far I await a replacement appointment. Had the letter been delayed, I would have arrived at the hospital to find out about the cancellation.

I am sorry to hear that your appointment was cancelled at such short notice. This is unfortunately out of TRAQS' control and is managaed at the hospital. The bookings office within the hospital should be able to advise you further about your appointment.

We do hope that your appointment is rebooked in due course and wish you all the best with your referral.
