I very rarely give reviews but feel compelled to do so after my 4 day stay at New Hall Hospital. Not only is it a beautiful setting, which contributes to your feelings upon admission but an impressive building with not a hint or smell of hospital. This was the first time I have undergone surgery but I never once felt uneasy, worried and had absolute full confidence in the whole team. The hospital is spotlessly clean, and has a calm air. At the time of my admission some development was going on but this was not an issue and I wouldn't have known. It is run with extreme efficiency and detail. All the staff including nursing, hostess, cleaning, physiotherapy, were outstanding and those I personally came into contact with I could not give higher credit to. There was an excellent selection of food, always served with a smile, and to lend a hand. I must give special mention to the brilliant theatre team, and my consultant surgeon. How do you thank someone that could (fingers crossed it's still early days) have changed your life. My elderly parents visited daily and also full of compliments. They were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. These gestures do not go unnoticed and make all the difference. An outstanding five star hospital.
