Anything else?
Date: 9/11/13. I'm in the RHH for specialist haematological and surgical treatment for the second time. I'm confident that I'm getting treatment as good as any in the country. However - the food can on my ward (F1 orthopedic surgery) can only be described as woefull - disgusting. Consistently. Also, night-time temperatures are decidedly cool. I knew better than to ask for another 'blanket' (a heavy, comfortless article), and brought my own fleece blankets (I'm sending home for another) and my own pillow. I believe these are acknowledged issues, perhaps it's time for the hospital management to stop acknowledging them and deal with them instead.
