I went to the LGH yesterday for an appointment with a Consultant in the orthopedics dept. I knew it was going to be awful when he was an hour late and didn't even bother to apologise. He was so smug, arrogant and full of self importance and sat during my consultation just grinning and shrugging his shoulders and telling me I had no problem. He barely asked me any questions about my symptoms and I left feeling so upset, angry and frustrated. I will be looking into this further regarding an official complaint and getting a second opinion. Also the reception staff were rude, ignored people while chatting to each other and drinking cups of tea. I've had experience of the LRI before and they are by far miles better than the general - the general should be ashamed.
