I was on my motorcycle taking the correct line for Street from the A39 Wells direction when I was knocked off by a car. I remember seeing the car about to hit me then nothing until a policeman was talking to me as I was lying injured on the road.
The ambulance arrived and they quickly both reassured me and transferred me to the vehicle with minimal discomfort. They decided my injuries warranted the Air Ambulance and they took me to a suitable landing site locally.
asked one of the crew where they were from and she said Bridgwater when they transferred me to the helicopter.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to the crew for all their help and reassurance.
Fortunately my injuries consisted only of fractured ribs lung contusions and a small pneumothorax and whilst bruised and sore the pelvis was intact.
I am now on the mend albeit slowly thanks to their help
