dental nurse was very polite and surgeons were excellent and explained thoroughly the procedure and remained professional and pleasant throughout.

What could be improved

radiographer made me feel very uneasy.

i have a phobia of things at the back of my throat and when they tried to put aa xray plate into my mouth i explained i was nervous and ny instinct was to hold their arm to feel incontrol

of the instrument going in,they promptly told me

'don't touch my arm'at that point i felt as though i had some dreadful infection and was very upset. I work in the nhs myself and

my first instinct is to put the patient at ease and explain a procedure before continuing.a little bit of empathy goes a long way in gaining a patients confidence.
