My mum was treated in this hospital for nearly 5 years for bowel cancer. She went through operations, chemo therapies, scans etc. I could not describe in high enough words the way she was treated as a patient. She was given such a wonderful care in this hospital! All staff working there are so passionate, caring and knowledgeable, always ready to listen to the patient, family and taking everything into consideration. She was given a prognosis when diagnosed with cancer - one year. I truly believe that only because we managed to move her into this great hospital, she lived much longer and was able to spend more time with her family - nearly five years! Nothing was a problem there, there was nothing impossible to arrange, organize, just to make sure that patient is getting the best care possible. To the last days she was given all possible options of treatment, care to make life a bit easier, even when it was a big struggle. I would, with no hesitation recommend this amazing place for people who fight with cancer. It is truly special hospital.
