"painful pinkie toe"

About: Dewsbury Health Centre / Podiatry

(as the patient),

After 3 months of pain I was referred to Podiatry in Dewsbury..and, not knowing where it was, I set off in good time...I got green lights all the way and arrived before the staff...lol.

So, I sat myself down and waited..a nice lady on the way past chatted I told her I was too early and asked if I was alright where I was (sat at reception) she said I was fine, asked my name and went into the unit...she popped back out in 5 mins and said I have marked you as arrived and we wont be long...she wasnt..I then went into the room with her and she looked at my foot...chatting all the time made me feel normal and comfy...she assessed my complaint and then dealt with it straight away...she was lovely and it was as if the whole situation could have been over a coffee it was warm, friendly and I was made to feel at home. A nice experience and now that I know where I am going next week will not be daunting...even managed a car parking space...thanks :)

Hi AndyPandy1109

Thank you for your thorough (and very readable) feedback. We would like to think all our patients have a similar and enjoyable experience to you.

Hope next weeks journey is as good.
