"MRI Scan"

About: Castle Hill Hospital

Anything else?

I had an MRI scan recently and found it an interesting experience. The operators were most friendly, reassuring and supportive. I would recommend researching the procedure and asking questions beforehand though as some aspects, especially the accompanying cacophony of noise and the controlled breathing requirements could be a bit alarming for some people. Music through the headphones was a welcome distraction but if you are elderly, don't expect One Direction, JLS, Bring Me The Horizon etc. I got Gene Vincent, Little Richard et al which took me back to the old Locarno Ballroom on Ferensway in the early 1960's!
