I was a day patient a few weeks ago (18th Sept 2013) for a hernia operation. The staff were amazing, from the young girl making sure the place was clean to the surgeon who performed the operation. The nurse in charge of the ward was so busy but always made sure we were all well looked after. She was run off her feet doing one of many 12 hour shifts that week yet was so professional and caring. She deserves a special mention. The student nurse was also amazing. All the staff are a great credit to the NHS. I would be grateful if you could pass on my gratitude and admiration for the staff that day. Sharon Sharman
