Anything else?
My elderly mother was sent to hospital by her GP because she needed hospital treatment, was told there was no beds til 6 o'clock, said ok I would take her, was phoned an hour later saying still no beds can't take her in til 8 o'clock , not happy but said ok. Arrived at 8 o'clock in MAU to be told still no beds to wait , bed was found at 10.30 was told doctor would see her shortly. I needed to speak to doctor personally as my mother has memory loss so needed him to know all facts, waited til 1.30 in morning was told no idea what time he would see her, my mother was getting distressed because she knew I had to go to work in morning so I eventually left just after 1.30 without seeing the doctor. What kind of ward organisation is this. I know from past experience my mother will say I am ok can I go home this is why I was so worried but no one seemed to care. This is not the way for patients to be treated.
