"Having recently been released ..."

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Having recently been released from ward 8 at North Tyneside Hospital, I felt I must write to acclaim the staff there. They were superb: nurses, doctors, auxiliaries and cleaners.

Take the cleaners, no MRSA germ would dare go near ward 8. The doctors were divine, the nurses couldnt do be nicer, auxiliaries were awesomely kind.

A word must be said about the kitchen. You never get to meet the staff, but considering the numbers they have to cater for the choice is excellnet. anyone who disagrees should try spending time in a Spanish version of NHS hospitals. They dont serve any food but depend on families to bring it in, which is fine if your family is in Spain, tough if they are not.

Anyway chef how can I arrange home deliveries of your delicious home-made soup?

Thanks everyone I really miss you all.

Please accept our apologies for the lateness of this reply; technical problems have removed any means of replying until now.

Many many thanks for the praise and appreciation for all the staff both on and off the ward. In an environment which is full of daily challenges it is heart-warming for all the staff to hear that their work and efforts are valued and that they are achieving their goal of ensuring that patients receive the best care possible. It is particularly rewarding to hear that the recent efforts to improve trust and confidence in the cleanliness of the ward environment have been successful.

Best wishes for your successful recovery.
