My 95 year old mother who suffers from dementia and lives in care was taken into A&E at 4 am after having a very bad fall in the care home .she was seen to very quickly but then was let down very badly afterwards she was left sitting in wheel chair for a further 7 hours waiting for transport to take her back she finally arrived back at the care home 8 30pm I fill totally let down by the nhs

I am very sorry to read about the wait your mother had to get back to her care home, its unacceptable. Can you email the date that this occurred so I can forward to the Patient Transport Manager as to why there was such a unacceptable wait and why we left her in a wheel chair and not a comfortable chair or bed. jonathan.wright@meht.nhs.uk
