I went into day surgery yesterday and am extremely impressed by the high standards in all aspects of my care. Not only was the ward extremely efficient, the staff were warm and helpful while being professional . The ward and toilets were spotlesss. The staff also treated each other with respect and just came across as a happy and hard working team. You hear so many horror stories about the state of care in he NHS and I too have been in wards where nurses are happier to chat to each other and get annoyed when you ask for help. So I want to pass on my thanks to St Albans Hospital and congratulate them for their very high standards.
