About: North Tyneside General Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

One of my closest friends was admitted to North Tyneside Hospital following a stroke.

His family and friends travelled from different places in the country to be at his bedside.

At no time were we made to feel in the way, in fact just the opposite, the staff at this hospital are the very best I have ever come across. Never have any of us been treated with such caring kindness by everyone from the doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, ward maids, porters - everyone we came into contact with couldnt have been nicer.

Never anywhere have any of us seen this, even down to the lovely patient pack of toiletries you provide, nowhere have I seen such though and consideration put into such a small, important item of necessity.

If Gordon Brown ever wants to know how a hospital should be run and how to care for its patients and their families he only has to visit North Tyneside General, god bless all of you.

Dear Lynda,

Thank you for taking the time to inform Northumbria Healthcare of the recent care your close friend received. We are very pleased to learn that your friend had a positive experience and that you found all the staff carried out their work in a caring manner. We will pass on your kind comments to the staff as it’s always encouraging to know their hard work is appreciated. We hope your friend is on the road to a full recovery.
