"Good experience overall"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

First referral to TRAQS made in August by trainee doctor at Shawbirch Medical Centre. After having received no appointment, I know a second Doctor in September (4 weeks later) and was re-referred.

At this point I was told to ring TRAQS to chase up my first referral. I was advised that no e-mail had been received by TRAQS. I then had to ring my medical centre to ask the secretary to arrange a referral. After the 2nd referral, TRAQS were very quick in offering an appointment to Apley Clinc, Telford.

Dr Orledge at the Apley dermatology clinic was quick to make a diagnosis (completely different diagnoses from the medical centre). She was very reassuring, showed me photographs and information on the computer.

Advised me she was referring me to do another claim where a Doctor would take a biopsy as a precaution. This appointment has been received.

Good experience overall - appointment at Apley was on time.
