I've heard some negative things about the maternity services here but I had my son in this hospital in July 2012 and the staff were all great. Felt like my baby and I were both in very good hands. Had a safe delivery and couldn't have been happier. Have just had my second baby here and, once again, amazing. I needed to be rushed down immediately to the labour suite as my baby was in distress. The staff all kept myself and my husband calm, kept us informed and, once again, made me feel like my baby was in safe hands. I had about 12 doctors/midwives in the room throughout (only a very short labour - my son was delivered within 30 minutes of me arriving). They were all fantastic, helping me through and I felt so reassured by them all. i really can't sing their praises enough. Hospital facilities are great, clean and I would have no issues in recommending this hospital for their maternity services in the future. If I have any more children, I wouldn't hesitate to give birth here again.
