About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital

Anything else?

i went in as a day patient to have 9 teeth removed, but because i suddenly got a absses before my surgury this caused extra work for the doctors as this would need draining. So when i went for my opp the surgeon told me this would be ok. The opp went ok and when i came round i was asked if i felt ok and that if i wanted to i could stay in over nite because of the extra work. I ended up staying the next day aswell while my drain wound heeled up , i was well looked after with regular checks on me . The only problem i had was on my last day my wound dressing was late getting changed so when the doctors came round he quearied this to his nurse who said sorry for the delay and got it changed there n then. When i was discharged the nurse gave me the infomation i needed to keep my wound clean along with my remaning medicine,After that they made sure i was ok to leave and that someone was picking me up. On the whole i was very well looked after kept informed as to what was going on and enjoyed my stay manythanks to all involed on ward 20.
