"Huntsman ward @ northern general hospital sheffield"

About: Northern General Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I was a patient on the huntsman ward 2 horrific experience put in a side room with locked outer doors to ward so completely forgotten about - despite excruciating pain having had morphine and O2 to ease this was left without neither on many occasions for many hours as in 8 hrs per time - dint receive any breakfasts and felt sick as in needed something in my stomach ie toast had to go chasing round ward at 1200 for (breakfasts).

I had problems with a number of staff but I felt one member of staff in particular was very rude and offensive and very uncaring. After this experience I do not want to go to this hospital again- one lady had chest pain and no doctor to see her - it was dreadful absolutely dreadful they should be ashamed and in my view it needs investigation by CQC ASAP.
