"I felt like I was being ignored"

About: New Cross Hospital / Eye infirmary

(as the patient),

All staff I encountered were friendly and professional. I felt cared for and in safe hands.

My initial test was completed very swiftly after arrival. I was taken to a second waiting area and had to sit for an hour and a half before being seen by the consultant. I was given no indication of the waiting time.

Whilst waiting for my blood test, there was a lot of chatting and laughing coming from the ward, it seemed like there was no work going on, but as I couldn't see there may well have been.

It was just frustrating as it felt like I was being ignored.
