I went in yesterday for a THD procedure under GA. From the very start I was treated with kindness, professionalism and dignity. You hear so many negative things about the NHS and so seldom about the thousands of good things that go on every day in our hospitals. Today I am up and about after an excellent anaesthetic and no pain whatsoever. My haemorrhoids had become very sore and itchy etc! And already they feel better, brilliant and a thousand thanks to all the staff in both the ward and theatres ( often forgotten in the thanks!) Please could you send a copy of this to both areas and a 1000 thanks to all for all the help and treatment and kindness, you are fantastic. Celia Johnson.
