"Poor Care"

About: Fairfield General Hospital

Anything else?

My Gran is 92 years old and went into hospital with a water infection although she wasn't put on any medication for over a week until I mentioned this to the staff. This was on ward 7. My gran was then put on 18. My Gran was then sent home and was back in the hospital for the 3rd time over a matter of weeks. My gran is now back in hospital and the hospital staff have lost her teeth which she paid hundreds of pounds for and now they suggested she goes on soft foods. We went to visit my gran one day this week 28/10/2013 and my gran was sat in her chair with no clothes on at all we had to get a member of staff to let them know. I wouldn't let an animal be treated like this. My gran has always been a strong women but after the so called treatment she has had from Fairfield hospital she has got worse. we was told my gran would be assessed this week which wasn't done and she didn't know if it was night or day but they are sending here home the same week.
