For about 4 years, one hip has been increasingly painful and has gradually become more of a handicap.

I saw my doctor in July, who referred me to a consultant. The appointment was made quickly, and I was soon given a date at the end of October for a hip replacement.

The pre-op appointment was a good and reassuring experience.

At every stage, I have been impressed by the friendliness, efficiency and kindness of the people who have been involved with the appointments.
