"Shoulder injury A&E"

About: Hillingdon Hospital

Anything else?

Provided with a professional service met my friendly receptionists and treated by knowledgable nursing staff. Service wait 2 hours, once seen I was x-rayed and treated, fracture clinic appointment booked. Positive experience of A&E. My only service user improvement would be to have the waiting room slightly warmer, it was a cold day and the waiting room was quite cold. Most patients like myself could be in shock after accident and so body temperature is likely to drop and a cold room is not ideal. On the opposite spectrum the treatment rooms were on the hotter side of warm.

We would like to express our gratitude that despite your injury you kindly took the time to provide us with this very kind feedback. We are proud of our staff, the department and the service we provide and we are very happy that our care was of a standard that we would wish for all our patients to receive. We duly note your comments about the heating and confirm that we will ask our Estates department to look at this issue. We would like to extend our warm wishes for a speedy recovery
