I had my surgery as a day case and under local anaesthetic, I was discharged within the hour. Whilst I was there the nursing staff were friendly and helpful in managing my disabilities. The surgeon also was understanding about a problem I have and easily worked around it, and whilst the surgery was taking place he gave me a running commentary of what he was actually doing. I enjoyed the whole experience and hope should anything else need doing I hope the experience can be repeated.
