"Repeatedly cancelling my appointment"

My dentist referred my to Dental Hospital. Appointment took while to come out by that time problem with mouth had resolved but was told if it reoccurred within 6 months to contact them and come back.

Unfortunately problem did come back and contacted appointments and was given appointment for April. This was cancelled by letter and rescheduled to 31 May.

Week or so before the appointment on 31 May got another letter in cancelling appointment and rescheduling to 23 August. Yet again bit nearer the time got letter in cancelling and rescheduling the appointment to November. In Sept got letter cancelling and rescheduling yet again.

On each occasion I've spoken to the Miss Kyle's secretary and the appointments dept and no-one can tell me why the appointments keep getting cancelled.

Once you could understand but to have the appointment cancelled and rescheduled so many times is ridiculous.

Thankfully Fiona McKenzie has been great in investigating and getting me an earlier appointment but she has never been able to find out why appointments are getting cancelled either.

Surely when looking at a patients record they must see how many times that an appointment has been cancelled and rescheduled by the hospital staff and not the patient. Is it too much to ask to be given an appointment and for that date not to be cancelled and rescheduled 5 times?
