I have just had treatment in the Haygarth Ward of Sunderland Eye Infirmary and have been overwhelmed by all the care and concern for my welfare which was shown by all staff during this stay. The staff have been efficient and professional in carrying out their duties, and have been friendly and very supportive during a worrying period in my life. The constultant was an experienced expert in his field and yet a very humble person whom I could trust, and who was able to reassure me during a traumatic time. This is a wonderful department in a wonderful hospital where care and concern to all patients is the order of the day every day. Thank you to the whole team for looking after me so well.
