What I liked

Standing there like a five star hotel there can be no doubt whatsoever that the building itself is impressive.but is turning into the bigest white elephant in the world

What could be improved

One of the main improvements is the layout of the wards IE:so many patients to a room and the private room [with no private nurse] means that by the time staff have checked one room and moved onto the next those in subsequent rooms could have [i know from personal experience] quite a wait for them to be re checked. As a case in point my uncle fell out of bed and broke his arm and fractured his hip shortly after one of these checks having no way of reaching the emergency cord. With only elderly and infirm patiens in his room most of them asleep it was 40 minutes before he was found. I know from speaking to others that this was not an isolated case and happens almost every day Traditional wards worked so why change them??????? Nb this is not a comment on the staff who are I know overstreched It's just the stupid design
