Difficult to believe that I'm the first to write a review on St. Michaels Hospital . Its going to be a good one , for those that looked after me . The ward was spotless , bed very comfortable , staff quickly with you when called .My surgery was efficently planned and everything I expected took place . My consultant spoke to me prior and post surgery . Had visit's from Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists , all exceedingly good proffesional . Could have been the private sector . There were very few patients on the ward lots of empty beds, , which I found quite surprising considering the recent bed shortages at RCHT ! I'm sure this hospital is not used to it's full potential . I wonder why ?
