I went to A&E with an upset stomach and much to my surprise I was addmited from A&E directly on to cardiac care, thanks to the investigations carried out I was kept in under observation overnight, I awoke to be asked could the staff call my family as I was suffering a major cardiac incident. I didn't believe this I was asleep and felt ok, next time I came to, my family had arrived. I was informed that my heart had stopped and been restarted twice, and I was to be transferred to Liverpol Heart and Lung Hospital first thing on Christmas morning. If I had been at home I wouldn't have been here to tell the tale, I would have died. I cannot say how greatful I am to the staff. The hospital is spotless the staff are friendly and the the service is first class.
