What I liked

I have had 2 major operations in the hospital. I was treated with dignity and received the best care possible during both of my admissions. My pain levels were dealt with accordingly.

What could be improved

The food and information provided by the Trust to all patients receiving treatment.

Thank you for your positive comments regardig the care and treatment you received during your admission at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. It is excellent to lean that you were always treated with dignity and had good pain control.

With regards to you comment regarding hospital food, we continually measure the opinions of patients during our weekly inpatient satisfaction surveys and monthly matrons’ rounds and try to improve the quality of services provided to patients including food. I am sorry that you were not happy with the quality of food during your admission.

All patients undergoing procedures are provided with a written information and we have over 60 different types of leaflets available. The leaflets are also available in wards and departments, I am sorry if they were not made available to you at the time of your admission.
