"car park charges"

About: Kent & Canterbury Hospital

Anything else?

I fail to understand why the government and hospital trusts cannot work together to allow cancer patients to be able to park without charge whilst they are receiving chemotherapy or radiotherapy. All hospitals should follow the same policy and take their example from the Royal Marsden

Response from Julie Pearce, Chief Nurse + Director of Quality + Operations, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust

Thank you for your feedback about car parking charges, we do have a specific scheme for patients receiving regular treatment for cancer such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Please do email me on Julie.pearce1@nhs.net and I will ensure that you are aware of the arrangements we have in place.
