"Delay in surgery dates"

About: Chase Farm Hospital

Anything else?

I have taken my toddler to see the ent at Chase Farm on several occasions. His snoring and breathing is getting worst We have been to the accident and emergency several times We were told he needed surgery and it will be sent out as urgent for weeks we have been waiting and given the run around about their policies; only to discover it was put in as routine Which means going back to the gp, which we have done several times only to be sent back to ent. To present my son's breathing is so bad constant runny nose he cannot be left alone, in fear that he will stop breathing We have requested a referral to Great Ormond they refused We are still waiting for a surgery date It’s a very bad system, I will not recommend the service at all

The Trust would like to apologise that you have a poor experience with our referral services . We would like to take this matter up with our business manager for head and neck services for her to review with the lead ENT Consultant. Unfortunately your feedback is annoymous on this site. If you would like to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service with your child's name, hospital numnber and date of birth plus your contact number we will try and establish a way forward. I will leave with you at this stage.
