"Blood Tests Early morning"

I attended for a Blood test this morning, knowing it can get busy first thing and because I had to get to work i arrived at 7.20, even though i knew it didn't open until 8am. I was 11th in the queue. What i don't understand is why there were only 2 nurses taking bloods (one only dealing with warfarin) when 8am must be the busiest time. I did ask the receptionist who advised there would be 2 taking normal blood tests at 9am! I felt sorry for the guy that came in at 8.10 and recieved ticket number 30! He is probably still there! Why would you not have more people taking bloods for the 8 - 10 period to clear the build up of patients?
