What could be improved

I liked the TV's but fund the price of £4.00 for 24hrs a lot when some of the time is when you are sleeping and the TV is off as I am on a low income and was in for 4day before being move to Wythenshawe £16.00 was a lot of money.

Unfortunately it appears as though you have paid the full price for 24 hour TV. There was an option available for you to have purchased TV in slots of 2 hours at £2, which may have been more suitable for you.

Full information about bedside TV costs are displayed on the bedside information screens. Staff and volunteers have access to this information and members of staff from the TV company are on-site and able to answer queries.

We recognise that some patients will need help in reading and possibly understanding the details, and following your query we will be producing large print information to be displayed on the wards.

In order to reassure future patients on the cost of bedside TV, the pricing details are as follows:

£2 for 2 hours

£4 for 24 hours

£8 for 3 days

£12.50 for 6 days
