About: Holme Valley Memorial Hospital / Day surgery

(as the patient),

I arrived for my appointment on time and was taken in almost immediately to see the doctor.

I didn't know before hand, which would have been nice if not essential, that the procedure would be done straight away. This was welcome as it cut out another visit to the clinic.

Everyone was very helpful, the new premises are comfortable and professional.

I was on my way home very quickly.

Dear Mrs Overall

I was glad to hear everything went well and you were on your way home quickly. I am really sorry you were not fully expecting to have your treatment that same day. I have spoken back with the team who have assured me the letter sent out attempts to explain the procedure may be carried out same day. The staff will look again at the wording to make sure it's understood by all.
