"Big thank you to the entire team"

I would like to thank Mr Parwez Hossain and his excellent team of doctors and nurses for the care and treatment I have received in the past 18 months within all departments of the Southampton Eye Hospital.

I have been treated with the utmost respect every time I have attended this very busy department and have been afforded all the time I needed to answer numerous questions I had, and in return I have tried to be a patient patient.

I recently received a cornea transplant which has enabled me to see, which is quite remarkable and this has only been made possible through research and development of Prof Lotery and his research team and of course from the donor of the cornea who must have been a very special person to give this incredible gift.
