Anything else?
My friends told me I am in for a big surprise going from private to NHS hospitals. They were right and all of the experience was positive and very reassuring. From the first day in pre op assessment through to 4 days on ward 5 and final discharge from ward 4 every member of staff I met was sincere, caring and very professional. The hospital although large was well signposted for all departments and cleanliness very good. The most remarkable aspect of my visit was the care, patience and enthusiasm of all the staff I was fortunate to meet, they really believe in customer services! Thanks to all nursing staff; doctors & consultants who made my stay in hospital a bearable experience and having such tremendous back up resources makes me confident to continue using NHS in the future. Even the experience of 6 bed wards as opposed to single bed wards I found positive. It eased my thoughts from my own illness as I spoke to fellow patients of their problems. Thank you Heartlands
