My husband crushed his hand under a falling trench block last week and so we took a trip to Cromer minor injuries unit. What a fantastic place! The receptionist was great. She was friendly, humorous and a great first impression. The nurse who treated my husband was wonderful. My husband is slightly squeamish (to put it nicely) and she immediately put him at ease. She sent him for x-rays, showed him the x-ray pictures, discussed various treatment options with him and then dressed his injuries - all this was done within an hour! How fantastic!! I can't speak highly enough of this unit. Thank god for the incredibly kind ladies who bequeathed the money to ensure the units future and thank god for NHS staff like the ones we encountered.
