I don't normally leave feedback on anything but as the NHS and the staff get such a bad press I felt I had to leave this feedback. I was seen quickly by the triage nurse who was kind, friendly and attentive,I then promptly had bloods taken by a very nice nurse and was seen by the junior doctor and then the senior doctor... This occurred within 2 hours. I was then referred to the breast clinic in Brighton in the morning. I cannot fault the service, they took my complaint very seriously and acted accordingly. The junior doctor had a very nice bedside manner and was very reassuring even though she was coming to the end of a long shift. Both doctors were very professional and explained why I was being referred so I was not left worrying. I was extremely satisfied with all the staff I came into contact with and cannot praise them highly enough. Their referral resulted in me being seen straight away at The Park Centre in Preston Park, even though I did not have an appointment and there was no clinic that day.i was seen by an oncologist who examined me and ordered mammograms and a consultant radiologist who skilfully performed a needle aspiration. The staff were wonderful and I can only thank the princess royal A.and E doctors for making this referral so quickly. This treatment was like a private medical experience.i am very humbled by the kindness and complete professionalism of everyone involved. When the NHS works well, it is a service to be proud of.
