The treatment I have received is well worth a five star rating. As the patient, I was put first by all the staff. Everything possible was done to make my treatment the best it could be and to ensure that I felt as well as I could at all times. My thanks go to all "my team". The pre-assessment staff, the doctors, nurses,catering assistants and cleaners on the ward, the theatre team, anaesthetists and surgeon, the recovery ward staff, porters, physiotherapists,occupational therapists and radiographers. They were all superb. With the help of the team I was out of bed in a few hours, I was able to walk on crutches with no pain and I went home after 48hours. I am another very, very satisfied patient and would not hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone who needs an operation like mine.
