"thank you for looking after my sister so well"

About: East Surrey Hospital

(as a relative),

I wanted to say thank you for looking after my sister so well.

She was admitted to the Acute Medical Unit yesterday in a bad state and all the staff were very impressive - very calm, professional and sympathetic even when she was stressed and at times un co-operative. I think it was Dr Baxter who bore the brunt (I hope I have got his name right) and I particularly wanted to say thank you to him for handling the situation so well.

Dear Kate1

I'm very pleased that you felt your sister was looked after so well on the Acute Medical Unit (AMU). AMU is a very busy ward so it is really important that we are able to provide excellent patient experience in such a high-tunrover area and from your post it is clear that we are doing this.

Kind regards

Ian
