"A&E and Maxillofacial Department"

About: University College Hospital

Anything else?

I was referred from my local A&E to the Maxillofacial department at UCL as I was bleeding out after multiple wisdom teeth were extracted at another north London hopsital (which shall remain nameless). The nurse saw me within 5 minutes at A&E, took my vitals and got me an ECG quickly as I had a high heart rate. I then got to see a senior house officer within 10 minutes and had another stitch input to stop me bleeding. The doctor was both kind and efficient and didnt mind patching up someone else's bad job! I cannot recommend the A&E / Maxillofacial department highly enough!
