Ive been admitted twice in the last 2 years through A&E and was surprised to hear on the news that there were concerns over this hospital. I wrote an email after my first admission 2 Christmas's ago as the staff were great and friendly as nothing was too much trouble. My more recent admission meant an overnight stay but again the A&E staff were great, in particular a male nurse who kept our spirits up and explained everything in detail to me and my partner and mother. He was also due to finish his shift, but still took the time to say say goodbye and wish me all the best. He stood out as particularly good but I cant say anyone Ive ever come into contact with has been anything less than good, clear and caring. I would recommend your A&E department to anyone based on my experiences.
