I have been on the waiting list for over 3 years now. I have not heard anything from the hospital, not even a letter telling me the status of my treatment. Three years is a long time without anyone considering how it is affecting me, my self confidence and how much pain i go through. Every time i call its either they cannot tell me how long more i have to wait or i have to wait till september to receive a letter. I have not received anything from anyone. I don't know what to think of the service. I am just really disappointed and frustrated and having seen other people write about waiting for only 6 months before getting treated its really unfair.

Please can you contact Alison Last on 0121 466 7128 or email alison.last@bhamcommunity.nhs.uk in order to help us to look into your concerns. It is not clear from your feedback which specialty you have been referred to at Birmingham Dental Hospital, and whilst we do have longer waiting times than we would like for orthodontics, you should have received correspondence from the hospital about your wait. I am sorry you have not received any letters or calls about your referral and look forward to your call / email so this can be resolved.
