"My Treatment at Leighton Hospital? - The best!"

About: Leighton Hospital

Anything else?

I have been a patient in Leighton Hospital on two occasions. Once for a total hip replacement and second time for eye surgery. Both times the outcomes, up to now, have been far better than I had hoped for. I was treated with kindness and understanding by every member of staff, with whom I came into contact. From initial contact, through evaluation, treatment and follow up. I tell those who ask and some who I think should know about Leighton Hospital the following:- Every member of staff behaved as though they wanted to be at work. There was a great feeling at confidence about the place, from cleaners to consultants. I found that information was readily available on request. I was treated with respect. Damn it, even the food was good. Can't say more than that. I know I will likely see you again. Regards Antony (Tony) Wood.

Dear Mr Wood Thank you so much for taking the time to post your comments on NHS Choices. We are so pleased to hear that you had positive experiences on both occasions and that you have received the right care and level of information. We will make sure that your feedback is shared with the relevant teams. Staff are always delighted to hear when patients feel they have been well looked after. We hope you are on the road to recovery. Matron Sandra Glover, Orthopaedics and Matron Delyth Owen, Ophthalmology
