My husband and I attended a labour and birth ante-natal class on Saturday morning as we are expecting our first baby in 6 weeks. The class was excellent, delivered in an informal, non-judgemental way which made us feel relaxed. We were given a tour of the delivery suite which helps us visualise where the baby will be born which obviously eases our apprehension. We can now approach the birth feeling well informed and confident thanks to a really positive experience.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on your recent parent education experience. I am pleased that you found the class to be positive, making you feel more confident and relaxed about birth. Here at Leighton we really want to promote the benefits of attending parent education classes, that is why we are one of the few hospitals locally to offer these classes free to parents.
