I took my 5year old daughter to and a&e on sunday as she had stuck a little plastic gem in her ear, we waited up there for 3hours for the pedeatric doctor to finally come and see her he took one look in her ear, and first said he could not see anything when the triage nurse and myself had already seen it, then the nurse working with him pointed it out to him for him to just shrug his shoulders and say I cant get it out! you will have to take her to the john Radcliff in oxford tomorrow they will phone you in the morning and advise you as to when to taker her over! following day im awaiting a phone call which I am still awaiting! iv tried phoned john Radcliff kept getting put through to answer phone have left countless messeges with the ear nose and throat department and the main sectrary and still no response, so I took her back up to stoke on the Monday, see completely different staff who this time could not belive the first doctor did not attempt to remove it, they have tried but could not do it, so is book in for Thursday at there ear nose and throat department, I think this is disgusting that a5year has to wait 5days to have an object removed from her ear!!!!!!!
