What I liked

What could be improved
communication. I was at the hospital in ward a2 as a day case waiting for surgery, i was there from 9.30am just to be told at around 10pm that i wouldnt be having the surgery that day/night, i have 3 children to look after so it was impossible for me to stay over, then eventually my next surgery appointment was arranged for the following thursday (today) just to be told after getting ready for surgery that i didnt need the operation as there was nothing they could do. I live in Bury and i dont drive, so getting to wythenshawe hospital wasnt easy or cheap, for the time i was there all day it cost me £55 in travel expenses as at gone 11pm (by the time i was discharged) i couldnt get a bus home so i had to get a taxi, if someone told me when i arrived or in the afternoon that i wasnt having surgery cos there was an emergency i wouldnt of minded too much but the fact that no one told me anything i was annoyed to say the least
